Pre-Trip

Hi All,

Here is a summary of where we will be riding next week in the northeastern part of Italy.  We will be starting in the town of Bolzano.

This is an example of a route like the ones we will be posting in our blog.  Since we will not have regular internet connection while we are riding, the map will not be updated in real time (like last year when we rode the Great Allegheny Passage and C&O Canal and posted from my Where's George Android App).  We will include the map of where we rode at the end of our day when we write daily blog.   The "S" icon is where we started and the "F" icon is where we finished.  The "S", "F", and bicycle icons are all clickable.  When you click on an icon, the date and time we were at that location will appear in the bar on the left.  Clicking on other icons will update the information in the bar on the left for the new point.  And, finally, a summary will be shown in the bar on the left if you click on the map where there are no icons.

We will send out an email to notify you each time we have completed a new blog.  We are planning on writing a new blog every night like when we rode down the Danube.

Italy is 6 hours ahead of US East Coast time.
